FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Southern Railroad Theatre Company
returns this December with the world premiere of Susan Jackson’s
new holiday play
THREE MARYS AND AN OTTER: Rocket’s Red Glare, the Holiday Story

Written by Susan Jackson**

Directed by Ann Thomas.

**Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle award winner

It's just six weeks till Christmas and the presentation of the annual Beaver Dam living nativity.  Usually the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary goes to the Pastor's daughter but she's run off to California.

Now the much coveted role is up for grabs and for Peaches Nasterson, Amanda Haley Lynn Hollister, and Crazy Lacy---the competition is fierce.

Join Peaches, Nandy, Lacy, Salacious Peterman, Billy Barnett Wilmington the Third, and The Tulita, as they face the challenges at hand.  Choices must be made: who will be the Virgin Mary, who will be the Baby Jesus, and will the fly metaphors be enough to secure life-long friendships?

The play features Diana Brown as Nandy, Robert Cooper as Billy Barnett Wilmington the third, Susan Jackson as Peaches, Adrienne Krug as Lacy, Eric Nelson as Salacious and
Margo Sims as The Tulita.
Co-Producers, Diana Brown and Susan Jackson

4 MERCY: Friendly Fires presents a new installment to our good ol' Southern soap opera, where everyone is related by blood or marriage, where dogs rule, where road trips and backyards reveal more than just weeds----and where mercy can be found.

Crazy Lacy, Nandy, Peaches, and Salacious come together in a “cometojesusmercymeeting” to determine just who ends up with whom.

ROCKETS RED GLARE 2.75
Salacious's soft side contrasts with his ambition as he prepares to pick up his bigamist Daddy.
Directed by Diana Brown ROCKETS RED GLARE 3.0
Nandy and Salacious, FORMER LOVERS, face-off with which opponent (Peaches or Salacious) deserves to be mayor of Beaver Dam.

ADOPT A HIGHWAY:
Three friends traveling three hours learn more than just three secrets; some are better left unspoken, especially when facing the law.
Directed by Ann Thomas

IN SITU:
Presents a different perspective on terminal illness, seen through the eyes of two friends; what price, friendship?
Directed by Ann Thomas
FOR I AM NOT BREAKING, part 3 (Mercy/Merci):
Socialite Marion Peallin, against her lawyer's advice, writes a letter to her soon-to-be-ex, bigamist husband; will he let her keep the one thing she wants?
Directed by Stephen Drewes

HEATHEN:
1864, General Sherman is burning down the South, and Posey (Margo Sims)--the slave of Dr. John Camaan (Eric Nelson)-- offers to fight off "the devil hisself" to help her master.  What she doesn't know is that things have changed in the South, and nobody bothered to tell her. Jump to 1929: Posey confesses the truth, just as Wall Street crumbles.
Directed by Susan Jackson

FOR I AM NOT BREAKING (Part One):
