Southern Railroad Theatre Company
returns this December with the World Premiere
of Susan Jackson's new holiday play

It's just six weeks till Christmas and
the presentation of the annual Beaver Dam living nativity.
Usually the role of the Blessed Virgin Mary
goes to the Pastor's daughter but she's run off to California!

Now, the much coveted role is up for grabs
and for Peaches Nasterson, Amanda Haley Lynn Hollister,
and Crazy Lacy---the competition is fierce.

Join Peaches, Nandy, Lacy, Salacious Peterman,
Billy Barnett Wilmington the Third, and The Tulita,
as they face the challenges at hand.

Choices must be made:
Who will be the Virgin Mary?
Who will be the Baby Jesus? And will the fly metaphors
be enough to secure life-long friendships?

Diana Brown, Robert Cooper,
Susan Jackson, Adrienne Krug,

We're pleased that our play was so well received in New York City. While we did not win the competition, we are thrilled to have been invited and for the Southern Railroad Theatre Company to have had such a solid NYC, debut!!
To be among the 5 finalist was an honor, indeed!!

The wonderful team of the Altruistic Theatre Company welcomed us and the audience roared with applause and approval for the acting and the writing in Jackson’s
 TENDING TO OTHER THINGS!
We met many other wonderful theatre makers and hope to bring the
Altruistic Company to San Francisco for a collaboration.

We plan to have a celebration for this wonderful experience in the late summer. A party to thank all those who helped us get to NYC this weekend. We will present TENDING TO OTHER THINGS featuring Co-producers Diana Brown and Susan Jackson, direction by Ann Thomas. We’ll also as we’ll also present a preview from our upcoming San Francisco show ROCKET’S RED GLARE: The Holiday Story, scheduled for December 2013.
